Common questions
- Where do crystal meanings come from?
- From centuries of tradition - Chinese five-element cosmology, birthstone lore, and the folk associations each stone gathered along trade routes. A crystal's meaning is cultural memory: amethyst for a settled mind, tiger eye for courage. We record those traditions stone by stone.
- How do the five elements relate to crystals?
- In the five-element system (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), every stone carries the element of its colour family - green stones grow like Wood, red ones burn like Fire. A balanced bracelet draws on the elements you want to strengthen. Each guide names its stone's element.
- How do I choose the right crystal?
- Start from the intention, not the stone: pick what you want more of - calm, focus, luck, protection - then let the guides point you to the stones tradition links with it. A five-element reading of your birth chart is the other route: it tells you which element to emphasise.
- Can I wear several crystals together?
- Yes - that's the whole idea of a five-element bracelet. Stones of the same element reinforce each other, and contrasting elements round a strand out. The builder shows the element balance live while you design.
